CONFUSION

In simple terms, confusion is believing something to be true

that actually isn’t.

As there is only ONE “state of affairs” that actually IS true,

(the Being of infinite Consciousness/Intelligence,

within which a continually changing, non-repeating pattern

of evanescent experience spontaneously arises,

Enlightenment),

Believing anything other than, or in addition to, that,

is confusion.

Consciousness/Intelligence seems to have the power to “think”,

to hypothetically model affairs within its own energy.

It can then draw conclusions

and engage in further modeling based on those conclusions.

(All this happens spontaneously

due to the inherent energy of Consciousness)

If the original modeling is inaccurate,

then conclusions drawn on that modeling,

and further modeling based on those conclusions,

may multiply the inaccuracy of the original modeling.

This pattern can lead to an increasingly complex modeling

that diverges more and more from Actuality;

and unfortunately,

this is what seems to be the case for most Humans.

This would not be a problem,

(as all such modeling is hypothetical),

except for the possibility that such modeling may include

the erroneous notion that it ISN’T hypothetical,

which would imply that this modeling might accurately embody

the actual state of affairs.

And if such modeling should also include the erroneous idea

that an “individual” exists

(as an entity separate and independent from

the actual state, Enlightenment),

who would suffer these problematic models

that are supposed to be actual,

then a needless condition of fear,

identification, and suffering could arise.

THIS is the problem with confusion.
